On the 1-minute chart, in a micro trend (lower highs for shorts, higher lows for longs) wait for a break of structure, draw a Fibonacci from the last lower high (higher low) to the extreme after the break, and enter with a limit order at the 0.618 level of the golden zone. Stop at the 1 level (the swing that started the leg), target the previous swing low/high (the 0 level).
The exact rules we tested
- 01Instrument: EURUSD | Signal timeframe: 1m | Direction: both
- 02LONG sequence: 1. (close crosses above sh) AND (sl > sl_prev) THEN 2. [sh > bos_lvl_l] just became true this bar (within 30 bars)
- 03SHORT sequence: 1. (close crosses below sl) AND (sh < sh_prev) THEN 2. [sl < bos_lvl_s] just became true this bar (within 30 bars)
- 04Entry: limit order resting at fib618_l (longs) / fib618_s (shorts), fills when price comes to it (expires after 20 bars)
- 05Stop: at the bos_lo (longs) / bos_hi (shorts) level
- 06Target: level: sh (longs) / sl (shorts)
- 07Where sh_prev = sh1 frozen at the last bar when sh != sh1
- 08Where sl_prev = sl1 frozen at the last bar when sl != sl1
- 09Where bos_hi = sh frozen at the last bar when close crosses below sl
- 10Where bos_lvl_s = sl frozen at the last bar when close crosses below sl
- 11Where bos_lo = sl frozen at the last bar when close crosses above sh
- 12Where bos_lvl_l = sh frozen at the last bar when close crosses above sh
- 13Where rng_s = bos_hi minus sl
- 14Where m618_s = rng_s times 0.618
