The fine print

Hypothetical simulated results with the limitations of CFD data feeds. Education, not investment advice. Every report discloses its assumptions and controls.

Does it match TradingView?

Every report lets you open any trade on a TradingView-style chart. That is only worth something if TradingView itself, running the same rules on its own data, takes the same trades. So we asked it.

How the check works

For any report we write a Pine script that holds two things: the strategy's rules, and the exact list of trades our engine took (entry candle, exit candle, long or short). Paste it into TradingView and press Add to chart. TradingView runs the rules on its own candles, then a table in the corner counts how many of its trades are on the same entry candle, the same side and the same exit candle as ours. The number comes from TradingView, not from us.

You can run it yourself: every report's More menu has TradingView match check.

It was not 100% the first time

The first run scored 94%. The check found three real problems, and each fix is now in every export:

  1. The wrong market. Our Bitcoin data is Binance futures; the chart was Binance spot, about $40 apart. The "Open on TradingView" button now opens the perpetual (BTCUSDT.P).
  2. Margin calls. Trading the whole account made TradingView liquidate in pieces, so one trade showed up as several. The check now trades one unit.
  3. Two-step setups. In rare cases the TradingView version re-armed a setup one candle late. It now resets exactly like our engine.

The limits, plainly

  • Exact candles exist only where TradingView shows the same exchange as our data: Binance crypto today. Forex, gold and index CFDs come from other price feeds, so charts show the same moves with prices a few points apart, and a trade that hinges on one tick can differ.
  • TradingView's 15-minute history on this plan starts in March 2026, so the two 15-minute tests compare about seven months.
  • Matching TradingView proves the rules are executed as written. It says nothing about whether the rules make money; that is what the verdict on each report is for.
